PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Manns Woodward Studios was selected to design a new EMS Station for first responders of Westernport, Maryland. The Tri-Towns Paramedic (EMS) Station is a 15,000 SF facility organized to better serve the community and help maintain public safety.

The First Floor of the Station includes an extensive Apparatus Bay which can house up to eight EMS vehicles. The apparatus floor also contains a dedicated turn-out gear zone, decontamination area, workshop, EMS Storage area and several other related support spaces. The remainder of the first floor provides the department with a state of the art watch office, fitness center, kitchen, large training room, media room, day room, and restrooms.

The Second Floor of the Station functions both in administrative duties, bunk sleeping quarters and six live-in dorms. The administrative area has six offices for the president, vice president, cheif, deputy chief, line officers, and secretary.
