PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The second phase of the training campus consisted of the construction of the field training structures, props and "dirty" classroom buildings.  Fire and Rescue props include three propane fed live fire training simulators; the Running Fuel Spill Simulator, the Inter-changeable prop simulator (fire extinguisher training pad), and the Structural Fire Fighting Prop.

The Structural Fire Fighting Prop consists of a multi-level adjustable maze, a four story tower with repelling equipment, and three burn rooms.

Police props include a multi-faceted simulation building with several different scenario rooms (fast food restaurant, bank, hotel lobby, hotel rooms with balcony, sniper keep, and warehouse area), Hogan’s Alley, gas exposure training structure, and K-9 training and agility field with day care kennels.

The props and structures were developed and placed on site in such a manner to create an urban scenario setting for joint training exercises, vehicle approach exercises, and command center and inter-agency control protocol training.
