The New Colora EMS Station is a 6,300 SF facility which will be utilized as a prototype for all future EMS stations located within Cecil County, Maryland. The first station built using this prototype is located in Colora, Maryland.
The Cecil County Department of Emergency Services selected Manns Woodward Studios to design their new faciliy which is occupied by full-time career staff. The two story station provides space for 5 pieces of apparatus and an abundance of storage for medical supplies.
The first floor contains a room specifically designed for report writing, a captain’s office, along with locker and shower facilities. The second floor provides the department with additional office space as well as a small kitchen and living / dayroom area for staff to utilize between response calls.
