PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Manns Woodward Studios was selected to conduct a feasbility study for a new fire department for Queen Anne's County Maryland. This particular site, located in Church Hill, Maryland, proved to be skewed and unusual. With this in mind and the apparatus turning requirements, our team was able to design a functional station that totals 15,000 S.F. in size.

The two level station was designed with the needs and comfort of the personnel in mind. The first floor provides a large Apparatus Bay with room for five full size apparatus and also the retired apparatus. This Bay includes extensive room for storage of gear, hose, and EMS supplies, a lobby, and space for an office.

The second floor really attributes to the station's functionaly. Here, the personnel and members of the department are able to enjoy private doors and four bathrooms with showers. The upper level has space for a fitness room, day room, and full commercial kitchen as well as office space.
